Jose Rodriguez Sr., of Tobyhanna, lost control of his motorcycle around 8:30 p.m. on Route 196 near Kilmer Road in Coolbaugh Township, the outlet says. The rider struck a pickup truck and was thrown from the motorcycle.

No other injuries were reported, according to the outlet.
